📋 Description

• As a 3D/2D Animator at Lapitopa Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and interactive experience of mobile games by creating animations that directly influence how players perceive and engage with gameplay, characters, and UI elements. Your work will be central to delivering the studio’s mission of crafting engaging, polished, and responsive mobile experiences where animation is not just decorative but functional to game feel and clarity.
• You will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D animations for characters, user interfaces, and core gameplay mechanics, ensuring each motion contributes to a satisfying, dynamic, and intuitive player experience. This includes animating actions such as character movements, ability effects, button interactions, and transitional sequences that must feel responsive and weighty to enhance immersion and feedback loops.
• You will collaborate daily with game designers, developers, and fellow artists in a small, highly agile team environment, translating design concepts into animated sequences through iterative feedback loops. Your animations will be refined based on gameplay testing, player metrics, and artistic direction to ensure they serve both aesthetic and functional goals.
• A key part of your role will involve maintaining animation consistency and quality standards across the project, helping to establish benchmarks for timing, easing, weight, and polish that align with the game’s visual language and technical constraints. You will act as a guardian of animation excellence, ensuring that all moving elements feel cohesive and intentional.
• You will gain deep insight into how animation impacts player psychology and game feel, learning to balance artistic expression with technical performance within mobile game engines. 🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a game animator specializing in both 2D and 3D animation for interactive media
• Proven experience working on mobile or casual/midcore games, with a portfolio demonstrating understanding of touch-based interactions and short-session gameplay dynamics
• Strong grasp of animation principles including timing, weight, anticipation, and follow-through, specifically applied to enhance game feel and player responsiveness
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers, integrating feedback and technical constraints into animation workflows
• Keen eye for visual detail and polish, with a commitment to delivering high-fidelity animations that elevate the overall production value
