- • Serve as the primary enterprise account leader for leading Insurance organizations, managing executive-level relationships and driving long-term strategic account plans focused on AI adoption.
- • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles for OpenAI’s AI products within the Insurance sector, aligning technical capabilities with business outcomes such as financial data analysis, backend automation, AI-powered research, and personalized customer engagement.
- • Collaborate directly with OpenAI’s research, engineering, and solutions teams to design and execute pilot programs that demonstrate measurable business impact for Insurance clients.
- • Partner with compliance, privacy, and security teams to ensure all AI deployments meet regulatory requirements and industry standards in highly regulated financial environments.
- • Own and exceed annual revenue and product consumption targets, maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting with precision and transparency.
- • Monitor evolving industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics in the Insurance sector to inform both customer strategy and product roadmap priorities.
- • Represent OpenAI at key industry events such as Money2020, serving as a thought leader and trusted advisor to Insurance executives on the responsible deployment of AI.
- • Work cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and communications teams to build and scale the Financial Services go-to-market motion, specifically tailored to the Insurance vertical.
- • Translate complex business needs from Insurance clients into actionable AI solutions, bridging technical capabilities with operational workflows and strategic objectives.
- • Design scalable, repeatable sales processes and deployment frameworks from the ground up to support enterprise adoption of AI across the Insurance industry.
- • Anticipate industry shifts and proactively guide enterprise clients through technological transformation, providing strategic clarity amid ambiguity.
- • Maintain deep literacy in financial services workflows, including underwriting, claims processing, risk modeling, and regulatory reporting, to effectively position OpenAI’s technology.
- • Build and sustain C-suite relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Risk Officers, and other senior decision-makers within Insurance organizations.
- • Drive adoption of AI solutions that prioritize safety, compliance, and ethical deployment, aligning with OpenAI’s mission to ensure artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity.
- • Operate from a hybrid work model requiring three days per week in the New York City office, with relocation assistance provided for new hires.
🎯 Requirements
- • 14+ total years selling complex enterprise software or platform-as-a-service solutions
- • 4+ years selling to Financial Insurance organizations
- • Proven success achieving annual revenue targets >$2M+ in regulated industries
- • Experience managing C-suite relationships
- • Strong understanding of financial services workflows
- • Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex deal and partnership strategies
