- • Manage a small number of key enterprise accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans to drive adoption of OpenAI’s AI products.
- • Lead enterprise prospects through the entire sales cycle, from initial consideration to successful deployment of AI solutions.
- • Partner closely with solutions engineers, research teams, and product managers to design and implement complex customer programs aligned with technical capabilities.
- • Own and deliver consumption-based revenue targets exceeding $2M annually, with accountability for accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- • Analyze key account metrics and generate actionable insights for internal stakeholders and external customers to inform strategic decisions.
- • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and partner ecosystems to contribute insights that shape OpenAI’s product roadmap and corporate strategy.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, business operations, people operations, finance, product management, and engineering teams to align go-to-market efforts.
- • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new sales and account team members to scale high-performance operations.
- • Contribute to the cultivation and reinforcement of OpenAI’s company culture through leadership, mentorship, and active participation in team initiatives.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, translating technical AI capabilities into business value and strategic outcomes.
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making at the executive level.
- • Lead high-visibility customer events including Customer Advisory Boards (CABs), industry conferences, and product launches.
- • Gather, distill, and synthesize complex market intelligence on customers, competitors, and industry dynamics to inform sales strategy and product development.
- • Drive bespoke, multidimensional sales initiatives that require integration of technical, commercial, and strategic knowledge.
- • Embrace ambiguity and actively seek novel solutions to unstructured challenges in a fast-evolving AI landscape.
- • Build and refine scalable sales systems and processes from the ground up to support rapid company growth.
- • Maintain deep customer-centricity by understanding client priorities and helping them realize their vision for leveraging AI to improve products and services.
- • Demonstrate passion for artificial intelligence and a commitment to deploying technology in ways that benefit humanity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years selling platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions
- • Consistently achieved annual revenue targets exceeding $2M for more than 3 years
- • Proven experience designing and executing complex enterprise deal strategies
- • Demonstrated success supporting the growth of fast-scaling, high-performance technology companies
- • Direct experience engaging with and influencing C-level executives
- • Ability to communicate technical AI concepts effectively to both customers and internal non-technical teams
