  • • Serve as the primary executive liaison for strategic banking clients, managing long-term relationships with global financial institutions including C-suite leaders such as CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital, Risk, and Operations.
  • • Own and execute comprehensive account strategies for a portfolio of strategic banking clients, aligning AI deployment with business objectives like customer experience transformation, operational modernization, employee productivity gains, financial analysis acceleration, and risk management enhancement.
  • • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles spanning business, technology, compliance, legal, and risk functions within large banking organizations.
  • • Collaborate directly with OpenAI’s research engineers and solutions strategists to design, scope, and pilot AI-powered use cases that deliver measurable business impact in regulated banking environments.
  • • Partner with compliance, privacy, security, and risk teams to ensure all AI deployments adhere to stringent financial industry regulations and governance standards.
  • • Achieve and exceed annual revenue and consumption targets exceeding $2M+, with accountability for accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
  • • Monitor evolving trends in banking, financial regulation, and artificial intelligence to inform customer strategy and guide product roadmap priorities.
  • • Represent OpenAI at key industry events such as Money20/20, Sibos, and American Bankers Association conferences to build brand authority and thought leadership in financial services AI.
  • • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Communications teams to develop and scale the strategic banking go-to-market motion, including tailored messaging, case studies, and industry-specific content.
  • • Design scalable, repeatable sales processes and deployment frameworks tailored to the unique needs of global banking institutions.
  • • Translate complex technical capabilities of OpenAI’s AI systems into clear business value propositions for non-technical banking executives.
  • • Anticipate industry shifts and proactively guide enterprise clients through adoption of transformative AI technologies in highly sensitive, compliance-driven contexts.
  • • Operate in a hybrid work model requiring three days per week in the New York City office, with relocation assistance provided for new hires.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 14+ total years selling complex enterprise software or platform-as-a-service solutions
  • • 4+ years selling to large global banking organizations
  • • Proven success achieving annual revenue targets >$2M+ in regulated industries
  • • Experience managing C-suite relationships, including CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital, Operations, Risk, and Lines of Business
  • • Strong understanding of banking workflows across retail, commercial, investment banking, capital markets, payments, or wealth management
  • • Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex deal and partnership strategies
