  • • As an Account Director at Lambda Inc., you will serve as the primary strategic advisor and trusted partner for Lambda’s most critical Superintelligence customers, driving long-term value, retention, and expansion by aligning AI infrastructure solutions with executive-level business goals and technical execution.
  • • You will own the end-to-end account strategy for your assigned book of business, ensuring customers achieve measurable outcomes in uptime, performance, and ROI while acting as the voice of the customer inside Lambda to influence product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • • Day to day, you will build and deepen relationships with C-suite executives, technical champions, and power users across enterprises, hyperscalers, and AI research organizations, conducting regular business reviews, identifying expansion opportunities, and co-creating joint success plans that map customer AI ambitions to Lambda’s GPU cloud capabilities.
  • • You will establish and monitor customer health metrics—including adoption, utilization, sentiment, support tickets, and retention—designing data-driven remediation plans when performance deviates from targets and leading cross-functional initiatives to resolve issues before they impact customer success.
  • • You will drive seamless onboarding and lifecycle management, overseeing cluster deployment, performance optimization, and feature adoption, while advocating for customer-requested enhancements through close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams.
  • • You will lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive engagements, articulating Lambda’s technology roadmap, translating technical advancements into business value, and ensuring alignment on mutual goals, investment priorities, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • • You will educate customers on emerging AI infrastructure trends, best practices in GPU utilization, and techniques to maximize tokens per dollar per watt, empowering their teams to deliver scalable, efficient AI workloads that advance their own customer-facing innovations.
  • • You will partner with Marketing and Sales to refine ideal customer profiles, contribute to case studies and thought leadership, and support go-to-market motions that highlight Lambda’s differentiation in AI-optimized cloud performance and reliability.
  • • You will operate within a high-impact, fast-moving culture at Lambda—a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers from researchers to hyperscalers—where your work directly supports the mission to make compute as ubiquitous as electricity and democratize access to superintelligence.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI/ML workloads, GPU-accelerated computing, and enterprise cloud consumption patterns, while honing your ability to influence without authority, scale customer success operations, and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a mission-driven, innovation-focused environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or equivalent roles, preferably within cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
  • • Proven success in driving customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction at the enterprise level, with experience managing strategic accounts and executive relationships.
  • • Strong technical fluency in cloud infrastructure, GPU/AI workloads, developer workflows, or related domains, enabling credible engagement with ML researchers and engineering teams while translating technical outcomes into business value.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated comfort presenting to and influencing C-suite executives and navigating complex, high-stakes discussions.
  • • Process-oriented and metrics-driven mindset, with expertise in defining, tracking, and acting on customer health metrics (adoption, utilization, sentiment, retention) and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • • Demonstrated leadership in influencing cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, CX) without direct authority, with the ability to drive alignment, accountability, and results in fast-paced settings.
