- • Join Workato’s growing Japan team in one of the company’s most high-potential global regions.
- • Report directly to the Sales Manager and collaborate with locally based SDR, partner sales, and marketing teams.
- • Build and execute a territory plan targeting mid-market customers across Japan.
- • Focus on new business sales through direct outreach and partnerships with channel partners.
- • Act as a strategic advisor to C-level executives (both technical and non-technical) to help maximize the potential of automation and integration using Workato’s platform.
- • Present key client issues and serve as the customer advocate within Workato.
- • Communicate complex enterprise automation solutions to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical decision-makers.
- • Manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, leveraging internal resources and local market insights.
- • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management in alignment with company systems and processes.
- • Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently under high-pressure situations.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales strategy with marketing campaigns and partner initiatives.
- • Utilize strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify customer pain points and tailor solutions.
- • Maintain excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese to engage with local clients and internal teams.
- • Leverage English language skills (preferred but not required) to communicate with global stakeholders and internal teams.
- • Represent Workato’s brand as a trusted innovator in enterprise iPaaS and AI orchestration to enterprise customers in Japan.
- • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs in the Japanese SaaS/PaaS technology sector.
- • Contribute to building and scaling Workato’s sales presence in Japan through consistent performance and strategic account development.
