Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own a multi-state territory and be the single-threaded owner of every new logo in your patch. You will prospect, qualify, demonstrate, and close net-new MEP contractors ranging from $5M to $250M in annual revenue, carrying a personal quota that starts at $750K ARR and scales with the business.
- • Run a credibility-first sales motion. You will spend mornings walking warehouse aisles counting fittings with purchasing managers, afternoons in job-site trailers reviewing change-order margins with project engineers, and evenings on Zoom with CFOs dissecting cash-flow reports. Every conversation is rooted in the language of job-costing, PO life-cycles, and field productivity.
- • Build and manage a healthy, multi-channel pipeline. You will map the local distributor ecosystem (Graybar, Rexel, CED, etc.), mine co-op marketing lists, attend IEC, MCAA, and NECA chapter events, and leverage warm referrals from existing customers to keep 3-4x coverage at all times.
- • Deliver tailored demos that feel like consulting sessions. You will import a prospect’s actual material masters, run a live take-off against an open bid, and show—down to the penny—how Remarcable eliminates phantom inventory and protects gross margin on every job.
- • Navigate complex, consensus-driven buying committees. A typical deal involves the owner (economic buyer), purchasing manager (functional champion), project accountant (skeptic), and field superintendent (end-user). You will create mutual action plans, ROI models, and security checklists that satisfy each stakeholder without slowing momentum.
- • Negotiate win-win contracts with integrity. You will structure annual SaaS agreements, align on onboarding milestones, and hand off a detailed success plan to our Customer Success team so every customer hits first value within 90 days.
- • Feed market intelligence back to product and marketing. You will log feature gaps, pricing objections, and competitive threats in Salesforce so our roadmap stays laser-focused on what moves the margin needle for contractors.
- • Travel up to 30%—mostly day trips and 1-2 overnights per month—to attend trade shows, ride-along on deliveries, and present at user-group lunches. When you’re home, you’re fully remote with a best-in-class tech stack (Zoom, Gong, HubSpot, Slack, Notion).
- • Exceed monthly and quarterly ARR targets while maintaining forecast accuracy within 10%. You will run pipeline reviews every Monday morning, submit call notes within 15 minutes, and close the books on the last day of each month with zero surprises.
- • Champion the mission. You believe specialty contractors deserve software that respects how hard they work and how thin their margins are. You take pride in helping them buy smarter, stock less, and build more profitably.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding $500K+ ARR quotas
- • Deep familiarity with construction or MEP distribution workflows—terms like take-off, change-order, PO, and job-costing should already be part of your vocabulary
- • Demonstrated ability to run multi-stakeholder deals (owner, purchasing, field, finance) with mutual action plans and clear ROI models
- • Strong command of modern sales tools: Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and Google Workspace
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; engineering, construction management, or supply-chain background is a plus
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive OTE of $180K+ with uncapped accelerators and equity in a fast-growing Series B startup
- • Fully remote culture with quarterly in-person summits and a $1,500 annual travel stipend for customer visits
- • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and 75% for dependents
- • 20 days PTO, 10 company holidays, and a "take-what-you-need" sick leave policy
- • $1,000 annual professional-development budget plus paid attendance at IEC, MCAA, and NECA events
