- • As an Account Executive at Clera, you will be on the front lines of a high-growth AI startup disrupting the $600B headhunting industry by selling an AI-powered talent agent that automates traditional recruiting and delivers 10x better hiring outcomes for VC-backed startups.
- • You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, building and managing a pipeline of high-potential tech companies while collaborating directly with the founding team to shape go-to-market strategy and product direction based on real customer feedback.
- • Clera is a fast-moving, well-backed startup with over $1M ARR, 40% month-over-month growth, zero customer churn, and partnerships with over 600 US startups including Mintlify, Luminai, and Windsurf—offering a rare opportunity to join a rocketship at an early but validated stage.
- • Day to day, you will prospect and qualify leads targeting VC-backed startups and scaling tech firms, conduct consultative sales conversations and product demos that showcase Clera’s AI agent in action, and tailor messaging to uncover hiring pain points and demonstrate ROI.
- • You will manage your own sales pipeline with discipline and urgency, forecast accurately, and consistently hit or exceed revenue quotas in a fast-paced environment where ownership and initiative are rewarded.
- • You will collaborate closely with the founders to refine sales scripts, positioning, and objection handling, turning frontline insights into product improvements and go-to-market optimizations.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects, educating them on how AI-powered recruiting reduces time-to-hire, improves candidate quality, and cuts costs compared to traditional headhunting models.
- • You will participate in weekly sales syncs, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of experimentation, iteration, and rapid learning as the team scales.
- • You will represent Clera at virtual and in-person events when relevant, helping to build brand awareness in the startup and recruiting ecosystems.
- • You will have the autonomy to experiment with outreach strategies, sequencing, and deal structures, with support from the founding team to double down on what works.
