- • Serve as a quota-carrying Account Executive (Business Development Associate) to drive new customer acquisition for Ideals Virtual Data Room (VDR) in the Japanese market.
- • Proactively identify, prospect, and engage C-suite and key decision-makers in Finance, Banking, and related sectors across Japan.
- • Build and manage a full sales pipeline from initial outreach through negotiation and closure using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Amplemarket, and Clay.
- • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and tailored presentations to showcase the value of Ideals VDR in high-stakes transactions such as M&A, fundraising, and corporate reporting.
- • Participate in organizing and attending M&A Community events to increase Ideals’ brand visibility and industry influence in Japan.
- • Collaborate closely with the Country Director, Japan, and cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Inside Sales to align on strategy and maximize revenue growth.
- • Provide consistent customer updates and feedback to product development and management teams to inform product improvements and market fit.
- • Execute the regional sales and marketing strategy by adapting messaging and tactics to local market dynamics and client needs.
- • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts while ensuring compliance with company processes and reporting standards.
- • Conduct in-person client meetings and site visits as required, while maintaining a hybrid/remote-first work model with flexibility for home-based daily work.
- • Contribute to the expansion of Ideals’ presence in Japan by identifying new industry verticals and expanding the customer base beyond existing markets.
- • Leverage deep understanding of Japanese business culture and communication norms to build trust and long-term relationships with prospects and clients.
- • Act as a frontline representative of Ideals’ brand, embodying the company’s core values of Commitment, Excellence, Collaboration, Trust, and Care in all customer interactions.
- • Work within a high-growth, bootstrapped SaaS environment with 30%+ YoY revenue growth and a top-rated product on G2 and UpGuard.
- • Support internal initiatives such as speaker programs, writing contributions, and professional development activities aligned with personal and company goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 1-2+ years of experience in a full 360 closing role within B2B or professional services
- • Experience in Tech, SaaS, or Finance industry
- • Native-level proficiency in Japanese with Business English
- • A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing deals
- • Outstanding business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery
