  • • Take full ownership of the sales cycle from initial prospect contact to contract negotiation and closing, with a target of closing deals within a 30-day timeframe.
  • • Identify and develop outbound strategies targeting high-potential business verticals to generate new business opportunities in the EMEA region.
  • • Convert inbound demand into closed-won business by managing a high volume of prospects simultaneously in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.
  • • Conduct a high number of discovery calls daily while maintaining a broad pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent deal flow and velocity.
  • • Tailor sales materials, product demos, and messaging to resonate specifically with early-stage startup buyers who are new to security and compliance.
  • • Continuously optimize personal sales workflow to improve conversion rates, increase activity levels, and deliver repeatable, scalable results.
  • • Surface product feedback and market trends from prospects to inform go-to-market strategy and product development initiatives.
  • • Operate in a high-velocity sales environment where repetition, fast decision-making, and consistent daily output are critical to success.
  • • Demonstrate technical competency to understand Vanta’s software platform and build credibility with technically savvy startup customers.
  • • Use AI tools responsibly to enhance efficiency, improve outreach, and strengthen sales performance while maintaining ethical standards.
  • • Maintain a proactive, intrinsically motivated approach—taking initiative without direction and solving problems independently in a rapidly scaling startup.
  • • Build and sustain long-term customer relationships grounded in empathy and trust, contributing to high customer retention and satisfaction.
  • • Work from the Dublin office on a hybrid schedule with mandatory in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on messaging, pipeline health, and customer insights.
  • • Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets in a quota-carrying role focused on new business acquisition.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 12+ months of experience in a closing, quota-carrying sales role
  • • Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales targeting SMBs or early-stage startups with short deal cycles and high activity
  • • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-velocity, transactional sales environments
  • • Strong empathy for customers and track record of long-term customer retention
  • • Technical competency to understand and articulate the value of Vanta’s software to technical prospects
  • • Proven problem-solving skills and initiative in a startup environment
