- • The Renewal Specialist at Vanta plays a critical role in driving customer retention and revenue growth by managing the end-to-end renewal process for small business customers (up to 10 employees), ensuring seamless contract renewals while identifying expansion opportunities within a portfolio of 2–250 accounts.
- • Day to day, the Renewal Specialist will proactively reach out to customers 60–90 days before renewal, manage 10–15 renewals per month, conduct discovery conversations to assess customer health and satisfaction, address objections, maintain accurate Salesforce/Clarity records, follow renewal playbooks, collaborate with Customer Success Managers on at-risk accounts, and provide weekly forecasts to leadership to meet or exceed renewal rate and revenue retention targets.

- • In this role, the Renewal Specialist will develop deep expertise in SaaS renewal motions, contract management, forecasting accuracy, and customer relationship building, while gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration and pathways toward IC3 individual contributor growth within Vanta’s Account Management team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related customer-facing closing role
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers
- • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- • Comfortable working with data and metrics to drive decision making
