- • The Specialist, Total Rewards Operations Support is a key member of the Human Resources team at National Geographic Society, ensuring operational excellence across compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to support the organization’s mission of fostering a strong employee experience and culture.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing benefit plan invoicing and claims processing, supporting retiree and former staff inquiries, administering recognition programs and gift distribution, assisting with compensation surveys and merit processes, maintaining HR data accuracy, and supporting open enrollment and annual audits.
- • The HR team at National Geographic Society is dedicated to designing people and total reward strategies that enhance employee culture and experience, and includes HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and leads the internship program.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in total rewards administration, gain experience with HRIS systems and compensation tools, strengthen analytical and communication skills, and contribute to process improvements that support employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.
