- • As an Account Manager for SMB at Wonder Technologies (Grubhub), you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the connection between local restaurants and diners by managing and growing a portfolio of small and medium-sized business accounts, directly contributing to increased revenue and market presence for both the restaurants and the platform.
- • You will develop a deep understanding of Grubhub’s suite of products and services, including menu optimization tools, promotional features, and delivery logistics, to effectively advise restaurant partners on how to maximize their visibility, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting regular check-ins with restaurant partners to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, identify growth opportunities, and address concerns in a timely manner, ensuring strong, trust-based relationships are maintained.
- • You will assist restaurants in enhancing their online presence by optimizing menu pages, highlighting popular items, and leveraging Grubhub’s marketing tools to attract new diners and increase order volume.
- • Proactively responding to account inquiries, resolving issues, and routing complex requests to the appropriate internal teams within established SLAs will be a core part of your role, ensuring minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
- • Maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions in CRM systems (such as Salesforce), including call notes, action items, and follow-up tasks, to ensure continuity and accountability across the team.
- • Participating in ongoing training, workshops, and skill-building sessions to sharpen your sales techniques, product knowledge, and account management expertise, fostering continuous professional development.
- • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Product) to relay partner feedback and contribute to product improvements that better serve the SMB merchant ecosystem.
- • Demonstrating initiative by identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities, proposing tailored solutions, and contributing to team goals through proactive outreach and problem-solving.
- • Representing Grubhub’s mission and values in every interaction, championing the success of local restaurants and reinforcing their role as vital community anchors.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience, along with a High School diploma or GED.
- • 1-2 years of sales experience; prior experience selling to or working with restaurant owners is strongly preferred.
- • Native-level fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a strong advantage.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in making outbound calls and handling client inquiries professionally.
- • Strong organizational abilities, self-motivation, and a bias toward action, enabling effective multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to quickly learn new software; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.

- • Competitive base salary range of $64,000–$80,000 in Oregon, with uncapped commission potential leading to total target compensation (TTC) of $80,000–$100,000.
