  • • The Account Support Manager at Premier Inc. plays a critical role in driving customer value and revenue growth by serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to healthcare members, ensuring alignment between Premier’s supply chain solutions and member organizational goals.
  • • Day to day, the role involves managing account relationships (85%), including developing deep knowledge of Premier’s contract portfolio and solutions, supporting account planning and outcome improvement plans, cultivating relationships across supply chain business lines (dietary, Rx, purchased services), driving contract penetration and uptake through analytics and presentations, managing member and supplier issues, and educating customers on reporting and opportunity identification.
  • • The role also includes administrative duties (10%) such as updating Salesforce and tracking tools, representing client management interests internally, presenting results at conferences and workshops, and participating in cross-functional teams, plus project management (5%) involving assisting with product implementation, understanding project plans, and leading problem resolution to ensure customer expectations are met.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5 or more years of applicable work experience
  • • High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • • Ability to prepare and present clinical and/or financial data using Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Premier tools to share cost management and clinical performance improvement opportunities
  • • Strong knowledge of health systems market issues and ability to conduct management-level discussions to translate Premier’s value proposition
  • • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work independently with self-accountability
  • • Attention to detail, adaptability to changing priorities, and ability to meet deadlines
