📋 Description

• • As an Accountant at Remote Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of a globally distributed company that enables compliant international employment. Your work ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supports strategic decision-making across multiple jurisdictions.
• • Day to day, you will post transactions in SAP, reconcile sub-ledgers including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany accounts, record and reconcile multi-country payroll, support month-end and year-end close processes, perform balance sheet reconciliations, prepare variance analyses, and ensure timely filing of statutory documents such as VAT returns, CIT returns, and other local financial filings.
• • You will join the Finance, Tax & Accounting team within Remote’s global Finance function, which is responsible for everything from tax and treasury to strategic finance and investor relations. The team operates with a focus on financial health, risk management, and providing insights to support global growth, all while embracing Remote’s async work culture and innovation-driven values.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in international accounting standards, gain hands-on experience with multi-country statutory compliance, strengthen your analytical and systems skills (particularly SAP and Excel), and develop the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, fully remote environment — positioning you for advancement within Remote’s finance career paths.
