• • Own the daily cash reconciliation process for Flexera’s global subsidiaries, ensuring every rupee, dollar, euro and pound is accounted for and variances are investigated and resolved within tight SLAs.
• • Execute high-volume journal entries for bank charges, credit-card fees, write-offs and bad-debt provisions while maintaining a clear audit trail that satisfies both internal controls and external auditors.
• • Drive month-end close activities by preparing cash-position reports, reconciling suspense accounts and partnering with Treasury to confirm liquidity forecasts—your numbers will directly influence executive-level cash-flow decisions.
• • Take full ownership of the fixed-asset sub-ledger: record additions, retirements and transfers; calculate depreciation under multiple GAAPs; and produce roll-forward schedules that reconcile to the general ledger down to the last serial number.
• • Maintain an in-progress asset listing that flags capital WIP, ensures proper cutoff and prevents ghost assets—your rigor keeps the balance sheet clean and audit fees low.
• • Run monthly prepaid-amortization routines, reclassify short- vs long-term balances and prepare supporting reconciliations that withstand Big-4 scrutiny.
• • Allocate payables and receivables across cost centers and legal entities, then post the resulting entries to NetSuite—accuracy here enables product-line P&L visibility for senior leadership.
• • Serve as the go-to analyst for ad-hoc queries from FP&A, Tax and Legal; your ability to drill from trial balance to source document in minutes will make you the hero of every quarter-end fire-drill.
• • Champion continuous-improvement projects such as RPA bots for bank recs, dashboard automation in Power BI and process-documentation updates that cut close time by hours.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US, EMEA and APAC, leveraging your communication skills to explain complex accounting concepts in plain English and build consensus on treatment.
