📋 Description
- • The Accounting Analyst - Lending/Banking role is critical to ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the Head of Accounting in maintaining compliance and operational integrity within a financial services environment.
- • Day to day, the person will reconcile credit card transactions daily (including purchases, accrued interest, fees, and payments), complete daily delinquency reports, maintain and update employee bonus schedule and grant details, assist with month-end close processes (preparing card-related entries, providing documentation to bookkeepers, and preparing monthly/quarterly investor reporting), and provide financial audit support to the Head of Accounting.
- • The team operates within Extend Your Team, LLC, a financial services company focused on lending and banking solutions, where precision, timeliness, and attention to detail are paramount to regulatory compliance and investor confidence.
- • In this role, the person can develop deep expertise in financial reconciliation, month-end close procedures, and investor reporting within the lending/banking sector, while strengthening technical Excel proficiency and cross-functional communication skills in a remote, US-timezone-aligned environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Prior experience with reconciling credit card transactions
- • Prior experience with month end close processes
- • Must have banking, lending or hedging experience
- • Proficient with Excel
- • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is a plus.
- • Fluency, clarity and good diction in English
