- • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices for accuracy and authorization
- • Match transactions to purchase orders and other relevant documentation while maintaining electronic supporting records for all financial entries
- • Prepare and process electronic payments and checks, monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely disbursements
- • Assist in the month-end accounting close process by gathering, organizing, and validating financial data
- • Analyze and reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- • Communicate with external vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information for accurate financial reporting
- • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with established accounting standards and internal controls
- • Follow departmental compliance with best practices and accounting standards, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- • Assist in gathering and preparing documentation required for annual audits
- • Complete other accounting-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or equivalent
- • 1+ years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or related work
- • Must be authorized to work in the United States
- • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- • Attention to detail with accuracy and good record keeping
- • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
