• • As a Senior Product Controller, you will be at the forefront of evaluating the performance of our firm's trading desks and innovative digital product lines. Your core responsibility will be to ensure the utmost accuracy in financial reporting, meticulously manage valuation risks associated with our diverse portfolio, and provide strategic, data-driven insights into the profitability of our digital assets and complex financial products. This pivotal role acts as the crucial bridge connecting intricate front-office trading activities with robust back-office financial reporting, ensuring transparency and precision.

You will be empowered to drive improvements in the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and independence of the product control function, directly impacting the firm's financial integrity and strategic decision-making. • • Key Responsibilities:
• • **P&L Production & Analysis:** You will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. This includes providing in-depth, insightful commentary that dissects the key drivers of performance. Your analysis will cover market movements, operational costs, new trade activity, and any other factors influencing profitability, offering a clear narrative of financial outcomes.
• • **Position Substantiation:** A critical aspect of your role will be to rigorously verify the integrity of the business's trading positions. This involves ensuring that all digital asset positions are accurately recorded, meticulously reconciled, and conform to established accounting principles and internal policies, safeguarding the accuracy of our financial statements.
• • **Independent Price Verification (IPV):** You will lead and own the valuation process for our digital assets and financial instruments. This entails conducting thorough checks of internal valuations against independent market data sources, ensuring that our reported values are fair, objective, and reflect current market conditions, thereby mitigating valuation risk.
• • **Compensation Accrual Management:** You will ensure that compensation accruals are calculated with both accuracy and dynamism, reflecting the fluctuations in P&L over time. This involves proactively managing changes and adjustments as required, ensuring alignment with performance metrics and financial outcomes.
• • **Process Automation & Improvement:** A key objective will be to identify inefficiencies within current manual reporting processes. You will collaborate closely with our Engineering and Data teams to design, develop, and implement automated workflows, significantly enhancing efficiency, reducing errors, and freeing up valuable resources for more strategic analysis.
• • **Control Framework Development & Maintenance:** You will be instrumental in maintaining and strengthening a robust internal control environment. This is particularly crucial given the 24/7 nature of the digital asset market and the complexities of trade lifecycle events. You will manage and apply accounting policies to support accurate valuations and revenue recognition, ensuring compliance and mitigating operational risks.
• • **Stakeholder Management & Advisory:** You will serve as a key financial advisor and point of contact for Traders, Portfolio Managers, and Senior Finance leadership. Your insights into margin trends, capital requirements, and P&L drivers will be invaluable in supporting strategic decision-making and risk management across the firm.
