- • We are seeking a Accounting Coordinator to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation.
- • The Accounting Coordinator is a mid-level position with a direct line to the Senior Staff Accountant. This position is responsible for day-to-day activities of projects including but not limited to provider data management, data analysis, time management, inputting and processing invoices in our Workday system.
- • The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for month-end and year-end tasks including but not limited to 1099 preparation, and various audit duties.
- • The Accounting Coordinator will also work within Workday to research vendor/supplier cards.
- • Ability to work with large excel data files.
- • Assists Staff Accountant with payfiles, payment processing, and bank reviews such as positive pay and check-cashing verifications.
- • Balance and reconcile accounts payable disbursements each month and post to the general ledger.
- • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- • Ability to work accurately with numerical detail.
