Accounting Intern - Remote

📋 Description

• • The Accounting Intern supports core accounting functions within the Corporate department, reporting to the Controller, and contributes to daily operations as a temporary part-time role working up to 29 hours per week.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries under supervision, supporting account reconciliations, aiding in month-end close processes, providing audit support, assisting with Budget vs. Actual reporting, and contributing to the annual budgeting process.
• • The role is part of the Accounting team at the Center for Internet Security, Inc., a mission-driven organization focused on making the connected world a safer place through cybersecurity best practices and collaboration.
• • The intern will gain hands-on experience in fundamental accounting processes, develop proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation, and build professional skills in a remote, inclusive work environment while contributing to meaningful organizational goals.
