📋 Description

• As an Accounting Manager at Clera, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of financial operations for a fast-growing healthtech telemedicine platform operating at the intersection of eCommerce, prescription skincare and hair care, and digital health.
• You will lead and own the month-end close process, oversee core accounting functions including revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory, intercompany transactions, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets, manage treasury activities, and partner with Supply Chain to improve inventory controls and forecasting.
• Clera is a high-growth healthtech company scaling rapidly in a cross-functional environment, where you will join a Finance team focused on building robust financial infrastructure to support public reporting readiness and operational excellence.
• In this role, you will develop and enhance accounting policies and internal controls, drive process improvements and automation, mentor and develop a team of staff accountants, and gain experience supporting external audits while translating financial data into actionable business insights for cross-functional stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting, with 2–3 years in a manager or supervisory role
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP with hands-on expertise across ASC 606, inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets
• Treasury management experience: cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies
• Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and automation in accounting workflows
• Experience supporting external audits and ensuring public reporting readiness
• Background in eCommerce inventory management and healthcare industry operations
• Leadership experience mentoring and developing a staff accounting team
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with eCommerce, inventory, and supply chain teams
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate financial data into clear business insights
• Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA or Salt Lake City / Orem, UT area

🏖️ Benefits

• Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience
