📋 Description

• The Accounting Manager at Zebra Technologies Corporation plays a critical role in scaling the accounting function within a fast-growing Insurtech environment, ensuring financial integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP while supporting cross-functional initiatives.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; reviewing journal entries and reconciliations; supporting external audits; collaborating with FP&A, Engineering, Product, and People Teams on financial reporting and cost classification; and providing mentorship to strengthen team technical depth and process efficiency.
• The Accounting team at Zebra operates in a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are valued, and employees are empowered to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in a high-growth tech environment.
• In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in technical accounting, internal controls, and audit coordination; develop leadership and mentorship skills; gain exposure to SaaS/Insurtech accounting complexities; and contribute to process automation and scalability using emerging technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
• Prior experience leading or managing accounting personnel
• Experience supporting audits and preparing audit-ready documentation
• CPA strongly preferred
