- • As an Accounting Process and AI Technology Expert at Gartner, you will serve as a subject matter expert in transforming controllership processes—specifically accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial close—using AI and automation to drive both operational efficiency and strategic outcomes for CFOs.
- • You will collaborate with a team of experienced analysts to produce authoritative research and advisory content that addresses the priorities of senior finance leaders, helping them understand the impact of AI on financial operations and select optimal technology vendors.
- • You will deliver insights through client-facing activities including videoconferences, presentations at Gartner events, and written research, enabling clients to solve complex financial challenges and improve performance.
- • You will stay ahead of emerging trends in accounting technology, finance transformation, and adjacent areas like ERP systems and automation platforms, ensuring your advice remains cutting-edge and globally relevant.
- • You will contribute to Gartner’s mission of guiding global leaders by leveraging your deep expertise in financial processes and AI-driven innovation to produce actionable, research-based insights for Fortune 500 companies and multinational enterprises.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related fields, with a focus on financial reporting and record-to-report processes.
- • 8+ years of experience leading accounting teams in large multinational organizations, with proven success in transforming financial close, accounts payable, or accounts receivable processes.
- • Strong knowledge of accounting automation technologies and ERP systems, including hands-on experience working with vendors in the financial technology space.
- • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
- • Ability to travel up to 25% regionally and globally for client engagements and internal collaboration.
