- • Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, payroll, employee expenses, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- • Develop, maintain, and enforce accounting principles, practices, and procedures in alignment with GAAP and company policies to support reliable financial statements.
- • Manage the preparation of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and classified.
- • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with precision and adherence to strict deadlines.
- • Coordinate and support year-end audit activities, including gathering documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with external audit requirements.
- • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Controller and Reporting Manager to uphold internal controls and strengthen financial governance.
- • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data, analysis, and insights to inform business planning.
- • Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements, including accurate disclosure of financial information in filings.
- • Manage technical accounting issues related to revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity transactions, and other complex accounting standards.
- • Support tax compliance activities by providing necessary financial records and documentation to internal and external tax advisors.
- • Handle equity-related accounting functions, including stock option tracking, share-based compensation calculations, and cap table maintenance.
- • Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams on financial matters, ensuring alignment between accounting operations and broader business objectives.
- • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and timeliness across all accounting deliverables in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort in accounting workflows.
- • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and ensuring team readiness for evolving responsibilities.
- • Stay current with evolving accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance and operational excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- • Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
- • CPA license preferred
- • Proven experience with SEC reporting and public company accounting standards
- • Expertise in general ledger management, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation
- • Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles
