📋 Description

• Join Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc. as an Accounting Specialist focused on the cosmetic and medical industry, where you will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting operational efficiency in a fast-growing, remote-first environment serving US-based clients.
• This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate financial processing in a regulated, product-driven sector, directly impacting cash flow, compliance, and customer satisfaction through meticulous management of accounts receivable and payable.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes in QuickBooks Online (QBO), including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate general ledger entries aligned with cosmetic and medical industry standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end invoice lifecycle: generate customer invoices, transfer data from ERP systems to QBO with precision, and ensure timely delivery and tracking to minimize delays and discrepancies.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding invoices, account balances, payment statuses, credits, and disputes via email and collaboration tools, maintaining a high standard of service in a high-volume environment.
• Handle a substantial daily volume of financial transactions and communications with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Perform routine financial reporting tasks and support month-end close activities, including preparing schedules, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audit preparation when needed.
• Proactively identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial data, investigate root causes, document findings, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams using Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana, adapting to US time zones (EST–PST) to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of financial matters.
• Contribute to process improvements by suggesting enhancements to invoicing, payment tracking, or reconciliation workflows based on hands-on experience with ERP-integrated QBO systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements specific to the cosmetic, medical, and healthcare product sectors, supporting audit readiness and regulatory alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• Direct accounting or bookkeeping experience in the cosmetic, medical, aesthetics, or healthcare industry (non-negotiable)
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience managing ERP-integrated accounting workflows
• Proven ability to manage high-volume AP/AR and invoicing in regulated, product-based environments with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and spoken English with a clear, professional, customer-facing communication style
• Prior remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), preferably with US or UK-based companies
