📋 Description

• The Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments across multiple entities.
• This position involves coding invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining detailed financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in financial systems, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
• The AP Coordinator will review and process a high volume of vendor invoices and payments across multiple locations and entities, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• The AP Coordinator will request vendor account statements, perform reconciliations, and research and correct any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• The AP Coordinator will communicate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries promptly.
• The AP Coordinator will assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, including generating and distributing billing reports to stakeholders.
• The AP Coordinator will work in a dynamic work environment, multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• The AP Coordinator will work with a multicultural team from Latin America, collaborating with senior talent and expanding their professional network.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with financial software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Mediaocean, or Strata.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
