- • The Accounts Payable Coordinator - Entry role at Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is responsible for processing vendor invoices and supporting accurate, timely payments through the company’s Shared Services function. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting vendor relationships by ensuring invoice data is correctly entered, matched, and validated.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying invoice images and supporting documents for accuracy, entering invoice details into Ferguson’s ERP system using the 3-way match process (matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports), investigating and resolving discrepancies, identifying different accounting document types, calculating and applying correct payment terms, reviewing entries for duplication, and interacting with vendors to ensure proper invoice processing.

🎯 Requirements
- • Accounts payable, procurement (P2P) or other financial experience required
- • Understanding of accounting concepts through coursework or relevant experience
- • Proficient computer skills, including 10-key, with keen attention to detail in a structured, paperless work environment
- • Demonstrate Microsoft Office software skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- • Ability to organize and prioritize work, adjusting in accordance with job objectives
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with measured performance metrics
