- • As the Global Accounts Payable Manager at Legora, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling our Accounts Payable (AP) function during a significant period of global expansion. This is a pivotal, high-impact role that demands a strategic thinker and hands-on operator to build a robust, well-controlled, and highly scalable global AP infrastructure from the ground up. You will be the primary owner of all AP operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across our international entities.
- • Your core responsibility will be to own the end-to-end Accounts Payable lifecycle. This includes meticulous oversight of invoice processing, ensuring all incoming invoices are captured, validated, and routed for approval accurately and efficiently. You will also manage the entire payment execution process, guaranteeing timely disbursements to our vendors while adhering to all relevant financial regulations and company policies. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the comprehensive vendor setup process, ensuring all vendor master data is accurate, complete, and compliant.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves the design, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of scalable AP processes, robust internal controls, and streamlined approval workflows. These systems must be meticulously aligned with internal audit requirements and best practices, providing a strong foundation for our growth and ensuring financial integrity.
- • You will be accountable for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all AP activities. This encompasses proper coding of invoices to the correct general ledger accounts, ensuring all required approvals are obtained before payment, and maintaining strict adherence to accounting cut-off procedures to support accurate financial reporting.
- • The role also includes direct oversight of the global vendor card program. This involves the strategic design of policies governing the use of corporate cards, implementing effective spend controls to mitigate risk, and continuous monitoring of cardholder activity to ensure compliance and optimize spend.
- • You will serve as the central internal escalation point for all AP-related issues. This includes resolving complex vendor inquiries, addressing discrepancies, and acting as a liaison to cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Legal, and Finance to ensure seamless operations and foster strong working relationships.
- • A key driver of success in this role will be your ability to identify and champion process improvement and automation opportunities. You will proactively seek ways to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and leverage technology to streamline AP operations, all while maintaining strict compliance with country-specific vendor regulations and payment requirements.
