• • In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of our day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Your meticulous attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring that all vendor payments are processed accurately and on time, and that customer invoicing is executed flawlessly and promptly. By maintaining these critical financial workflows, you will play a key part in upholding strong financial controls, optimizing our cash flow, and cultivating positive, lasting relationships with both our valued vendors and our diverse customer base.
• • Your responsibilities within Accounts Payable (AP) will include the accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices. This involves meticulous coding of expenses to the correct general ledger accounts and ensuring that all invoices receive the necessary approvals before payment. You will also be responsible for the complete vendor setup and maintenance process, which includes collecting and verifying essential documentation such as W-9 forms, and ensuring that our vendor master file is kept up-to-date and accurate. A significant part of your role will involve preparing and processing payments efficiently and securely, leveraging platforms like Ramp to manage disbursements. Furthermore, you will actively support month-end close activities, ensuring all AP-related transactions are reconciled and accounted for, providing a solid foundation for our financial reporting.
• • On the Accounts Receivable (AR) side, you will be instrumental in generating and issuing customer invoices. This requires a deep understanding of contract terms and ensuring that invoices are created accurately and in strict accordance with those agreements. You will act as a key point of contact, coordinating closely with internal teams, such as Sales and Operations, as well as directly with our customers, to promptly resolve any billing inquiries or discrepancies. Your efforts will also support our collections strategy, where you will engage with customers to ensure timely payment, always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor to foster strong customer relationships.
• • Beyond AP and AR, you will provide essential General Accounting Support. This includes diligently maintaining accurate financial records and all supporting documentation, which is vital for audit readiness and ongoing compliance. You will also assist with various ad hoc accounting projects, which may include supporting sales tax filings, processing expense reports, and other critical financial tasks as they arise. A key aspect of this role is effective cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with colleagues across Operations, Sales, and the broader Finance team to ensure seamless information flow and coordinated efforts that drive business success.
