- • The Accounts Payable Specialist at Extenteam is responsible for overseeing payment-related inboxes, monitoring payment requests, and pulling invoices for submission to lenders on a weekly basis. This role ensures timely responses to ad hoc payment inquiries, re-issuances, and returned payments, playing a critical role in maintaining accurate financial operations and supporting the company’s growth in the short-term vacation rental industry.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and resolving complex payment questions, compiling and submitting invoices to lenders, managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with high accuracy, identifying opportunities to improve accounting process efficiency and consistency, participating in system enhancements and documentation efforts, and proactively identifying risks, errors, or trends to recommend solutions to management.
- • Extenteam is a dynamic, scaling-stage startup revolutionizing the short-term vacation rental industry through a tech-based subscription-first model and an AI-assisted SaaS platform. With a core team of 50 and over 400 Dedicated Team Members (DTMs) globally, the company operates hubs in Miami, LA, Medellin, and is expanding into Europe, driven by a mission to streamline vacation rental businesses with top-notch guest communication and property management solutions.
- • In this role, the Accounts Payable Specialist will deepen expertise in AP operations, gain experience with financial systems and process improvement initiatives, develop strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, and contribute directly to the company’s goal of doubling Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) by January 2026 through accurate and timely financial execution.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- • 1–3+ years of progressive accounts payable experience
- • High attention to detail
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Excellent organizational skills and ability to operate independently
- • Workday experience a plus
