📋 Description

• The Accounts Payable Specialist I manages the company’s accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, payments, and record-keeping, which is integral to Deel’s financial operations and vendor relationships.
• Day to day, the role involves taking charge of the end-to-end AP process including supplier setup, meticulous invoice review, and accurate recording; spearheading payment cycles for timely and compliant payments; managing credit card reconciliation; resolving payment and invoice discrepancies with suppliers; collaborating on month-end closing activities; and embracing varied responsibilities as assigned.
• Deel is the all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, supporting every worker type in 150+ countries with a team of 7,000 spanning over 100 countries, recognized as a fast-growing SaaS company with a $17.3B valuation and $1B ARR, committed to unlocking global opportunity through innovative HR and payroll solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in accounts payable or finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge of AP processes and reconciliation
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions
• Proficient in Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
