  • • This role directly contributes to ZURU’s mission of disruptive innovation by safeguarding working capital, enabling reinvestment into high-growth product lines like Bunch O Balloons, Mini Brands, and MONDAY Haircare, and supporting the company’s rapid global expansion across 30+ international locations.
  • • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes for European entities, including invoicing, payment application, cash allocation, and reconciliation of customer accounts across multiple currencies and legal entities.
  • • Lead a team of AR specialists, providing guidance, performance feedback, and training to ensure adherence to ZURU’s financial policies, SLAs, and global accounting standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • • Monitor aging reports daily, proactively engage with customers and internal sales teams to resolve payment delays, and implement collection strategies that reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) without compromising customer relationships.
  • • Collaborate closely with Treasury, Tax, and FP&A teams to forecast cash flow, support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with local European tax regulations (VAT, GST) and IFRS/GAAP requirements.

  • • Represent the AR function in cross-functional finance meetings, providing insights on receivables trends, collection performance, and working capital metrics to inform strategic decisions by regional and global finance leadership.
  • • Champion a customer-centric yet financially disciplined approach to collections, balancing firmness with empathy to preserve long-term business relationships while upholding ZURU’s financial integrity.
  • • About the team or company: ZURU Group Limited is a fast-growing, innovation-driven global consumer goods company with over 5,000 employees across 30+ countries, renowned for disrupting traditional industries through radical innovation in toys (Bunch O Balloons, Mini Brands), tech (ZURU Tech), and FMCG (MONDAY Haircare, Millie Moon). The finance team operates with entrepreneurial energy, where precision meets agility, and employees are empowered to challenge norms and drive measurable impact.

  • • Proven expertise in managing AR processes across multiple European jurisdictions, including VAT compliance, multi-currency invoicing, and adherence to IFRS or local GAAP standards.
  • • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) for data analysis and reporting.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with sales, commercial, and cross-functional teams while maintaining firm yet professional collection practices.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is a plus.
  • • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Polish or another European language is advantageous for local stakeholder engagement.
