- • Support actuaries by performing detailed analyses within the supplemental health business segment to generate valuation and projection insights.
- • Assist in the preparation of actuarial reports and studies for internal management and regulatory purposes.
- • Communicate technical actuarial findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders through written and verbal reporting.
- • Perform data gathering, cleaning, and preparation tasks using spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications to support actuarial modeling.
- • Pursue and pass actuarial exams as part of CNO’s structured actuarial student program, with expectations for continuous educational progression.
- • Contribute to the valuation and reporting processes specific to supplemental health insurance products across CNO’s insurance subsidiaries.
- • Complete all assigned duties in alignment with company standards for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- • Work within Central or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure alignment with team collaboration and operational hours.
- • Utilize actuarial software tools, including PolySystems, when available, to support modeling and reporting workflows.
- • Apply programming skills in SAS, R, Python, or similar languages to automate data processes and enhance analytical efficiency.
- • Maintain flexibility to occasionally travel to corporate offices in Carmel, IN; Chicago, IL; or Orlando, FL as required.
- • Operate remotely from any U.S.-based location while adhering to company policies and performance expectations.
- • Engage with CNO’s mental and financial well-being resources to support holistic professional development and work-life balance.
- • Participate in performance-based bonus programs tied to individual and team outcomes.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field
- • Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam
- • Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
