📋 Description

• We are looking for an Ad Valorem Assessment Advisor to help us build a new product for property tax appeals in Florida.
• The ideal candidate has 5+ years of direct, hands-on Florida experience filing residential property tax appeals.
• They should have personal experience filing or arguing petitions before a Florida VAB, or adjudicating them as a special magistrate.
• The candidate should be procedurally sharp, knowing every step of the appeals process as if it was the back of their hand.
• They should be able to describe why Broward is different from Hillsborough without looking it up.
• The candidate should have volume-tested experience, working across hundreds of parcels and seeing enough edge cases that they recognize the pattern before it becomes a problem.
• They should have no active conflict, not currently advising another company building consumer property tax appeal software.
• Florida-based strongly preferred, given county-level familiarity requirements.
• The work is advisory: reviewing what we build, flagging what won't survive contact with the VAB, and telling us when we're wrong before it costs a customer.
• The candidate will work as an independent contractor, approximately 5–10 hours per week, with no fixed schedule.
• There is a path to a full-time permanent role if the product starts to see traction.
