- • The Admissions Specialist serves as the first point of contact for incoming referrals and patient inquiries, playing a critical role in guiding individuals and families through the clinical intake process for behavioral health and addiction treatment programs.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing high-volume inbound calls from hospitals, referral partners, families, and individuals; conducting eligibility screenings; gathering medical and insurance information; documenting referrals in EHR and tracking systems; coordinating next steps such as assessments; and providing clear, compassionate guidance when cases fall outside program scope.

- • Prior experience in admissions, intake, patient coordination, or case management

- • Excellent verbal communication skills — clear, direct, and professional in all interactions
- • Experience working with EHR platforms, CRM systems, or referral tracking tools
- • Must have prior remote work experience and proficiency with tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace
- • Must have experience working with U.S.-based organizations
