đź“‹ Description

  • • Faith Technologies, Inc. (FTI) is seeking an exceptional Advanced Global Test Engineer to join our innovative team in Appleton. This is a high-impact, strategic role for a technical expert dedicated to redefining how power generation and distribution systems are designed, applied, and consumed. As a key member of our organization, you will serve as the Global Subject Matter Expert (SME), establishing the definitive standards for setting up and validating power generation systems across FTI's global operations. You will own the entire lifecycle of testing processes for complex power systems, from initial customer engagement and equipment specification to protocol development and worldwide site support.
  • • In this pivotal role, you will be the primary technical authority, ensuring that our testing methodologies are not only standardized but also automated wherever feasible. Your expertise will be crucial in seamlessly integrating these testing processes into our broader manufacturing and quality ecosystems, driving efficiency and reliability.
  • • Your responsibilities will begin with direct collaboration with customers. You will meticulously interpret their technical requirements, translating these complex needs into robust and effective testing strategies. This involves defining, developing, and authoring precise technical specifications for advanced testing equipment specifically tailored for power generation applications. Furthermore, you will lead the critical process of selecting and procuring high-precision instrumentation and hardware essential for global deployment, ensuring we have the best tools for the job.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve the design and development of comprehensive test scripts and automated sequences. These will be instrumental in rigorously validating system performance and safety, ensuring that every system meets our stringent quality benchmarks. You will also be responsible for authoring detailed test protocols, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring full compliance with international power industry standards. Continuous iteration on testing logic will be key to improving cycle times while maintaining the highest sensitivity for fault detection, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
  • • Beyond protocol development, you will architect and implement sophisticated system integrations. This includes connecting testing hardware with our internal databases such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. You will develop requirements for automated test reporting and create intuitive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into critical quality metrics. Ensuring data integrity and traceability across all global testing platforms will be paramount to maintaining trust and operational excellence.
  • • As the Global Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be the go-to resource for all testing-related queries and strategic initiatives. You will provide essential Tier-3 technical support to our local site teams, tackling complex or seemingly unsolvable testing failures. A core objective will be to standardize testing processes across all global sites, guaranteeing consistency in product quality and data output worldwide. You will also play a vital role in mentoring and training site-level engineers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills for new equipment, protocols, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. This role also encompasses performing other related duties as required and assigned, reflecting the dynamic nature of our operations.
  • • FTI is committed to fostering a Culture of Care, recognizing us as one of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America. We invest in the mind, body, and soul of our team members. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, supported by our career development and continued education programs. As a merit-to-the-core organization, we recognize and reward top performers with competitive, merit-based compensation and a flexible, robust benefits package. If you are energized by new challenges and ready to redefine what's possible in the energy sector, FTI provides the platform for you to start, grow, and succeed.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Energy Engineering, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Testing Engineering or relevant roles. Alternatively, a Master's Degree (M.S.) in Electrical Power Systems or Control Systems with 8-10 years of experience in Testing Engineering or relevant roles.
  • • Expertise in automated test software such as LabVIEW, Python, or PLC-based testing environments.
  • • Deep understanding of power electronics, grid simulators, and load banks, coupled with strong knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, CANbus, Ethernet IP).
  • • Proven ability to collaborate with customers, interpret technical requirements, and translate them into comprehensive testing strategies and specifications.
  • • Experience in developing detailed test protocols (FAT, SAT) and validation plans, adhering to international power industry standards.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, depending on project needs.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive, merit-based compensation recognizing top performance.
  • • Robust career development and continued education programs to support professional growth.
  • • Industry-leading benefits package designed to invest in the lives of team members and their families.
  • • Opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment focused on redefining energy solutions.
  • • Flexible work schedule options, including hybrid or remote possibilities based on location, with core hours between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
