Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full-cycle sales process for life, long-term care (LTC), disability income (DI), and fixed / fixed-indexed annuity products across the nation’s largest distribution channels—wirehouse institutions, RIAs, independent broker-dealers, registered reps, and independent agencies.
- • Act as the primary growth engine for Highland Capital Brokerage by prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding new producers who have never incorporated insurance solutions into their practices, then guiding them from initial concept to signed application with white-glove service.
- • Reduce advisor attrition and deepen wallet-share among existing producers through quarterly business reviews, targeted education campaigns, and data-driven cross-sell programs that demonstrate measurable lift in life & annuity premium.
- • Translate complex carrier illustrations, underwriting requirements, and suitability rules into concise, advisor-ready talking points that satisfy SEC, FINRA, and DOL guidelines while positioning the most competitive product for each client scenario.
- • Design and deliver virtual and on-site training sessions—ranging from 30-minute product spotlights to full-day CE workshops—that empower advisors to identify insurance gaps in their books and confidently present risk-based solutions to high-net-worth clients.
- • Leverage enterprise CRM, quoting platforms, and case-design tools to build multi-carrier comparisons, stress-test product performance, and generate executive-level reports that help advisors win and retain larger cases.
- • Partner with internal New Business, Underwriting, and Marketing teams to expedite applications, resolve underwriting roadblocks, and create co-branded collateral that keeps your producers engaged and informed.
- • Monitor industry trends, carrier product releases, and regulatory updates; synthesize findings into monthly newsletters, podcast appearances, and webinar content that position Highland as the go-to thought leader in insurance distribution.
- • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets (premium, case count, and producer count) while maintaining a 90%+ advisor-satisfaction score measured through post-case surveys and NPS tracking.
- • Champion a culture of compliance by conducting suitability reviews, documenting file notes, and escalating potential issues to the Supervision team before they reach the client or carrier.
- • Travel up to 25% for key advisor summits, home-office visits, and industry conferences, ensuring face-to-face relationship building that accelerates trust and long-term revenue.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding workflows, training curricula, and sales collateral by collecting advisor feedback and piloting new technologies that shorten the time from quote to commission.
