  • • The Manager - Digital Channels leads G.E.H.A's digital marketing efforts to empower federal workers with health and wellness resources, ensuring seamless, engaging experiences across web, social, and email platforms that drive member acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  • • This role is critical to advancing G.E.H.A's mission by owning end-to-end digital channel strategy and execution, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve SEO, and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning web, social, and email channel management with an emphasis on continuity and excellence; collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing strategy, PR, clinical ops, sales) to align channel initiatives with business goals; designing and executing automated email journeys for lead nurture and customer engagement; managing the BrightEdge platform for SEO performance, keyword research, and content optimization; incorporating tracking and attribution into all campaigns to enable full-funnel performance analysis; monitoring key metrics (click-through rates, page views, engagement, conversion) to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness; overseeing webinar development and deployment for clinical, sales, and member engagement purposes; curating and retiring outdated web content; staying current with emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies (including AI) to drive innovation; leading and developing a team of web content and social media specialists through hiring, coaching, performance management, and resource allocation; assessing new creative mediums and best practices to enhance response rates and team capabilities; strengthening team expertise via training in consumer insights, direct response methodologies, and growth optimization; evolving team processes by standardizing SLAs, SOPs, and turnaround times to increase quality, accuracy, and efficiency; and performing other duties as assigned to support organizational success.

  • • In this role, the individual will develop advanced expertise in healthcare marketing automation, multichannel attribution, and digital analytics; gain leadership experience managing and mentoring a specialized digital team; deepen knowledge of healthcare compliance (including HIPAA and data privacy) in a regulated environment; master enterprise CMS platforms like Sitecore and tools such as BrightEdge; and contribute directly to process improvement and team scalability through SOP development, training initiatives, and innovation leadership—positioning them for long-term impact and career growth within a purpose-driven nonprofit.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent qualifying work experience
  • • 6-8+ years of progressive experience in communications planning, health insurance marketing, marketing automation, and channel management, with required health plan/payor industry background
  • • 3+ years of proven experience managing direct reports, including hiring, performance coaching, and team leadership
  • • Proficiency in Sitecore CMS or comparable systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and hands-on experience with the BrightEdge platform for SEO and keyword research
  • • Strong ability to design, execute, and optimize automated email journeys and multichannel campaigns using marketing automation tools
  • • Demonstrated skill in incorporating tracking and attribution strategies to measure campaign performance across the full funnel
  • • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities, with comfort working alongside technical teams (developers, engineers) and external agencies
  • • Creative and critical thinking mindset, with passion for innovation, unique customer experiences, and continuous improvement in digital marketing practices
  • • In-depth understanding of healthcare data privacy best practices or proven ability to adapt to HIPAA-compliant environments
  • • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while multitasking, prioritizing, and maintaining a results-oriented, urgent approach
