  • • As the Vice President of Brand Marketing at GameChanger Media, Inc., you will be the architect of the company’s brand identity and growth engine, shaping how the organization is perceived in the youth sports ecosystem through authentic, socially-driven storytelling that avoids traditional, high-cost tactics in favor of organic, community-led engagement. This role is pivotal as GameChanger enters its next phase of scaling, where brand relevance and emotional connection will be key differentiators in a competitive landscape, directly influencing user acquisition, retention, and long-term loyalty among parents, coaches, and young athletes.
  • • You will own and evolve GameChanger’s brand strategy, including defining and refining its positioning, voice, narrative, and creative systems to ensure scalability across all channels and internal teams, establishing a cohesive and recognizable brand presence that resonates with the values of youth sports—leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence.
  • • You will lead upper-funnel brand growth by driving awareness, consideration, and brand-led traffic through compelling storytelling and creative excellence, leveraging data-informed insights to optimize content performance and audience engagement across platforms.
  • • You will build GameChanger into a social-first publisher by creating always-on content that grows followers, impressions, engagement, and share of voice, transforming the brand into a cultural hub within the youth sports community through consistent, high-quality, platform-native storytelling.
  • • You will oversee influencer and creator marketing, developing authentic partnerships that extend reach and cultural relevance while activating users as advocates, ensuring collaborations feel organic and aligned with GameChanger’s mission rather than transactional or promotional.
  • • You will lead Integrated Marketing, Social, Content, and Creative teams, fostering high-quality, on-brand execution and strong cross-functional alignment with Product, Growth, Communications, and Sales to ensure brand storytelling supports long-term product adoption and commercial value.
  • • You will drive measurable acceleration in social audience growth, engagement, and share of voice as primary leading indicators of brand momentum, using these metrics to inform strategy, justify investment, and demonstrate ROI to executive stakeholders.
  • • You will own integrated planning and the marketing calendar, aligning launches, campaigns, and content across the business to ensure timing, messaging, and resource allocation are optimized for maximum impact and coherence.
  • • You will partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and executive leadership to translate brand strategy into business outcomes, serving as a strategic advisor on how brand equity translates into market share, customer lifetime value, and competitive advantage.
  • • You will cultivate a publisher mindset within the marketing organization, operating at the speed of culture and modern platforms, encouraging agility, experimentation, and rapid iteration in response to trends, user behavior, and emerging creator ecosystems.
  • • You will mentor and manage senior leaders and versatile teams, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration that empowers individuals to take ownership of brand initiatives while maintaining alignment with overarching goals.
  • • You will champion GameChanger’s mission by infusing brand storytelling with genuine passion for youth sports and the communities that surround them, ensuring every campaign, post, and partnership reflects the real-life impact of sports on youth development and family engagement.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 15+ years of experience in brand marketing, with foundational training in a CPG or similarly brand-led organization and proven success operating in high-growth, resource-constrained environments.
  • • Demonstrated expertise in building brands organically through social media, creator partnerships, and community engagement, including deep fluency in platform algorithms, content mechanics, and influencer ecosystems with a track record of measurable audience growth.
  • • Extensive experience defining and scaling brand voice, creative systems, and storytelling frameworks across multiple teams and channels to ensure consistency and authenticity at scale.
  • • Proven leadership of Creative Services, Social Media, Influencer, and Integrated Marketing teams, including experience managing senior leaders and driving cross-functional performance.
  • • Deep background in building consumer-facing brands at scale, with a strong understanding of how brand equity drives consumer behavior and long-term value.
  • • Genuine passion for youth sports and the communities that support them, with a personal connection to the mission of elevating youth development through sports.
