- • As a Paid Search Manager at Darkroom Software, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling high-growth consumer brands through data-driven paid search strategies, directly contributing to measurable revenue growth and market expansion for clients across e-commerce, DTC, and social commerce platforms.
- • You will own end-to-end campaign strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting for 6–10 paid media accounts with monthly spends ranging from $20,000 to $3M, operating at the intersection of AI-driven advertising and traditional search platforms to deliver outsized ROI.
- • Darkroom is a fast-growing, next-generation growth marketing firm recognized as an Inc. 5000 company and a leader in performance media, where innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration are core to delivering measurable impact for clients.
- • You will work closely with creative, analytics, brand, and creator teams to align paid search initiatives with broader marketing goals, ensuring full-funnel performance and healthy customer acquisition within the e-commerce ecosystem.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in emerging AI search platforms (e.g., Kontext, Koah, Perplexity, Claude, OpenAI) while mastering established systems like Google Ads, YouTube, and Bing, positioning you at the forefront of the evolving AI advertising landscape.
- • You will develop and implement proactive, real-time bidding strategies based on platform trends, competitive research, and performance metrics, ensuring campaigns remain agile and cost-efficient in dynamic market conditions.
- • Through rigorous audits, competitive analysis, and client-facing strategy sessions, you will translate brand value propositions into high-converting paid search funnels that drive new user acquisition and leads.
- • You will be expected to religiously track and optimize for key KPIs including CPA, CAC, iROAS, nCAC, MER, aMER, CTR, and CPM, using data to inform budget allocations, forecasting, and quarterly strategy planning.
- • The role demands a balance of tactical execution and strategic foresight, including preemptive quarterly planning based on YoY trends, spend projections, and market insights to anticipate client needs and deliver forward-looking recommendations.
- • You will gain hands-on experience managing complex, high-spend accounts while refining skills in creative consultation, ad copy optimization, short-form video testing, and financial literacy related to e-commerce P&Ls.
- • Darkroom fosters a culture of autonomy with accountability, where A-players are empowered to take ownership, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes without bureaucratic constraints.
- • As a fully remote role supporting an EST-time-zone team, you will enjoy flexibility while collaborating with a high-caliber, interdisciplinary team committed to innovation and excellence.
- • This position serves as a career incubator for ambitious marketers seeking to operate at the intersection of technology, design, and business, with exposure to cutting-edge AI commerce layers and proprietary analytics infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of paid media advertising experience with a specific focus on Paid Search and Google Ads, including proven ability to build high-converting funnels and drive quantifiable results.
- • 3+ years of experience managing paid search advertising for consumer-facing clients with aggregate monthly ad spend of at least $400k.
- • Expertise in developing, testing, and optimizing advertisement copy and short-form video creative for paid search campaigns.
- • Strong background in data-derived decision-making, including forecasting budgets and spend projections linked to performance outcomes.
- • Proficiency with core e-commerce revenue drivers and reporting on critical metrics such as CPA, CAC, iROAS, aMER, and CPM.
- • Mastery of the full e-commerce marketing funnel, from offer to ad to landing page to conversion.
