Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Product Marketing Manager at BRINC, you will serve as the definitive voice of the company’s life-saving public safety technology, shaping how innovative drone and software solutions are positioned, launched, and adopted by over 600 public safety agencies nationwide. Your work will directly impact how first responders access critical tools in high-stakes situations, translating complex hardware and software capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions that drive mission-focused outcomes.
- • You will own end-to-end product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, ensuring BRINC’s offerings stand out in a competitive landscape by translating technical capabilities into resonant customer value for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical professionals. This includes developing living competitive intelligence programs, crafting sales enablement assets like battlecards and demo scripts, and partnering with design and content teams to launch data-driven marketing campaigns that generate awareness and pipeline.
- • Day to day, you will conduct customer research through interviews, ride-alongs, and field studies to surface actionable insights that inform both marketing strategy and product roadmap priorities, acting as the internal voice of the customer across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.
- • You will lead product launches from GTM strategy through asset creation, sales enablement, and post-launch measurement, building a comprehensive library of sales tools including one-pagers, product videos, technical documentation, and usability test summaries to support the sales cycle.
- • Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering, you will identify and prioritize software improvements based on competitive gaps and field feedback, coordinating customer pilots and synthesizing results into clear R&D recommendations that ensure BRINC’s technology evolves to meet real-world public safety needs.
- • You will thrive in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment where cross-functional collaboration is essential, using tools like ClickUp, JIRA, Confluence, and Figma to align teams and execute initiatives that balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- • BRINC’s culture values innovation, frugality, and user-centricity — you will be encouraged to ‘try the hard stuff,’ listen to end-users, and strive for excellence while contributing to a company that has raised over $150M and is dedicated to saving lives through technology without building a dystopia.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in public safety technology, hardware-software integration, and B2G (business-to-government) marketing, positioning yourself as a strategic influencer who bridges customer insight with product innovation in a high-growth, impact-driven startup scaling nationally.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of product marketing experience with a proven ability to take products to market — from positioning and messaging through launch execution and sales enablement.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts (especially hardware and software systems) into clear, customer-resonant language for public safety audiences.
- • Experience building and maintaining competitive intelligence programs, and a track record of working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams in fast-paced environments.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for employees and their families.
- • 401K retirement plan with company support.
- • Flexible Time Off (Exempt) / Paid Time Off (Non-Exempt) policies, flexible work environment, and location-specific perks including Orca pass (Puget Sound), free parking, and free snacks, drinks, and espresso at the Seattle office.
