📋 Description

• As an Agent Platform Engineer at Viktor, you will build and maintain the core infrastructure that enables the company's AI agent to operate reliably across thousands of integrations, ensuring seamless tool execution, secure sandboxing, and scalable data persistence for 25,000+ workspaces.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include building self-improving integration agents that learn APIs and auto-correct failures, owning end-to-end integration quality by detecting and resolving issues before customers are impacted, developing a robust Python-based tool gateway that connects APIs with proper auth, rate limiting, and reliability, managing isolated Linux sandboxes per workspace with autoscaling and security, and overseeing the multi-tenant data layer for durable, fast state persistence.
• Viktor is a fast-growing company where the product is gaining strong market traction, operating with a small, high-trust team that prioritizes shipping over process, giving engineers direct access to founders and ownership over critical systems that define the agent’s capabilities.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, sandboxing, multi-tenancy, and infrastructure reliability at scale, while contributing to systems that directly impact the agent’s ability to execute complex workflows — with your work shipped to production daily and your name in the changelog.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems for scale and reliability in production
• Deep knowledge of sandboxing and OS-level isolation, including containers and Linux internals for running untrusted code safely
• Proven experience working with real integration plumbing such as OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, and third-party APIs
• Strong understanding of multi-tenancy, durability, cost per request, and failure-resistant design
• Instinctive focus on security and blast radius, especially when executing model-generated code
• Comfort building with AI-assisted engineering workflows as a default practice
