📋 Description

• As an Agent Platform Engineer at Viktor, you will build and maintain the core infrastructure that powers the agent’s ability to interact with thousands of integrations reliably and securely, ensuring the system improves autonomously through failure-driven learning.
• Day to day, you will design and operate self-improving integration systems, build and manage the tool gateway that turns APIs into agent-callable functions, run and scale persistent Linux sandboxes per workspace, own the multi-tenant data layer for state and durability, and continuously improve reliability by turning integration failures into permanent fixes.
• Viktor is a fast-growing, remote-first company with hubs in Munich, New York, and Warsaw, where small teams own real surfaces of the product and decisions are made through direct collaboration with founders, not bureaucratic processes.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, sandboxing, multi-tenancy, and production-grade infrastructure at scale, while shipping daily to production and seeing your impact on an agent that handles over 1.5M tool calls a day across 25,000+ workspaces.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems for scale and reliability in production
• Deep knowledge of sandboxing and OS-level isolation, including containers and Linux internals
• Proven experience working with real integration plumbing such as OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, and third-party APIs
• Strong understanding of multi-tenancy, durability, cost per request, and failure-mode thinking
• Security and blast radius awareness as instinctive design principles, especially when executing untrusted or model-generated code
• Proficiency in Python and comfort learning new infrastructure tools quickly (e.g., Modal, container orchestration)
