- • As a Senior Agentic AI Engineer at Eigen Labs, you will build the foundational systems that enable AI agents to operate reliably, verifiably, and autonomously in production environments—turning experimental AI prototypes into trustworthy economic actors capable of executing, earning, and coordinating onchain.
- • You will design and implement agent runtimes and orchestration systems that handle planning, tool use, memory, and multi-agent coordination, ensuring agents can perform complex workflows with consistency and resilience in real-world conditions.
- • Your work will focus on making agents observable through tracing, debugging, and evaluation pipelines; reliable via retry mechanisms, state management, and failure handling; and cost-efficient through performance optimization and resource-aware execution—transforming fragile demos into production-grade systems.
- • You will integrate LLMs, external APIs, and data sources into coherent, secure agent behaviors while defining clear patterns for how developers can build, extend, and debug agent functionality through SDKs and developer tools.
- • Eigen Labs is building the trust layer for the age of AI—where blockchain-based verifiable compute and restaked security enable software agents to own assets, transact, and be held accountable—making this role central to shaping the emergence of agentic companies as independent economic entities.
- • You will collaborate closely with a Seattle-based team of top builders in a remote-first, U.S.-time-zone-preferred environment, spending your time building and shipping systems rather than managing or roadmapping, with direct impact on products that redefine how AI interacts with value, ownership, and coordination.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience shipping real-world systems that people depend on, with evidence of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into working, production-ready products.
- • Strong backend or systems engineering background with proficiency in at least one core language (Python, Go, TypeScript, Rust, etc.) and hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, and infrastructure.
- • Demonstrated experience building or deeply exploring agent systems, LLM pipelines, or autonomous workflows beyond simple demos, including understanding of failure modes, reliability patterns, and system behavior in production.
