• • As an Agile Project Manager (APM) at Horizon Industries, Limited, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) Integrated Casting Order Network (ICON) portal. This is a full-time, remote position where you will leverage your expertise to drive system development, sustainment, and maintenance operations, ensuring the ICON portal not only meets but exceeds its objectives.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive project management leadership, guiding the program through its lifecycle. This includes meticulously planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will be instrumental in identifying application deficiencies, proactively addressing them, and implementing solutions that optimize system performance.
• • A key aspect of this role involves leading initiatives to enhance the ICON portal's functionality, with a particular focus on incorporating secure classified transaction capabilities. This requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application within a cloud environment.
• • You will act as a strategic advisor, utilizing your consultative skills and business acumen to guide stakeholders on objectives, processes, and systems integration. This involves a proactive approach to understanding business needs, gathering relevant data, conducting thorough research into complex problems, and formulating effective, data-driven recommendations.
• • The role demands proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements through various methods, including interviews and surveys. You will be responsible for synthesizing this information into clear, concise findings and presenting them effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
• • You will be the custodian of project documentation, responsible for creating, reviewing, and delivering comprehensive reports and presentations that accurately reflect project status, progress, and outcomes.

• • Collaboration with Product Owners will be crucial as you define product roadmaps and translate high-level visions into actionable user stories. Your ability to prioritize these user stories within the product backlog will directly impact the development team's focus and efficiency.
• • You will lead and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators (DBAs), and testers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Your leadership will be key in ensuring these teams work cohesively towards shared project goals.
• • Implementing robust quality assurance and quality control processes will be essential to guarantee the reliability and integrity of the ICON portal. You will oversee these processes from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• • Your responsibilities extend to overseeing the entire IT development, operations, and maintenance support for the ICON portal, ensuring seamless functionality and continuous improvement.
• • You will provide critical technical leadership and guidance, particularly in environments that leverage AWS Cloud tools. This includes familiarity with technologies such as DB2, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Tomcat, React, Auth0, AWS S3, and Java, ensuring the team is equipped to work with and optimize these platforms.
