• • LILT is at the forefront of transforming global communication through AI, and we are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic Production Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of localization projects, making information universally accessible across languages. As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, directly contributing to our mission of breaking down language barriers.
• • You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring all production tasks are handled autonomously and efficiently. This includes taking full ownership of project deliverables and guaranteeing adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with our clients. Your ability to establish realistic deadlines and consistently meet them will be crucial for client satisfaction and operational success.
• • A key aspect of this role involves effectively balancing and managing competing priorities across a diverse range of task types and customer accounts. You will be expected to maintain high levels of responsiveness to both internal and external communications, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed and issues are addressed promptly within pre-defined SLAs.
• • You will play a vital role in resource strategy and team leadership. This involves maintaining a robust pipeline of resources and core teams to support ongoing project management needs. You will be responsible for identifying specific resource requirements for production work and actively participating in sourcing new vendors through our existing database or by initiating requests for new talent when necessary.
• • Managing linguist communication is a core responsibility, ensuring clear and effective collaboration with our global network of language professionals. Furthermore, you will be empowered to define and delegate administrative tasks to Production Coordinators and interns, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Training supporting resources on key production processes and methodologies will also be a part of your leadership duties, ensuring consistency and quality across the team.
• • The role demands a strong focus on Quality, Risk, and Financial Assurance. You will be accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Management (CM), Quality, and On-Time Delivery (OTD). You will meticulously manage quality at the project level, overseeing processes like Review, Verification, QA, and Linguistic Quality Evaluation (LQE). Handling quality complaints and feedback from stakeholders with professionalism and efficiency is paramount.
• • Proactive risk analysis is essential. You will identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and conduct ongoing risk assessments for all production areas. Effective escalation of issues or problems to management, accompanied by proposed solutions, is expected. You will also be responsible for raising Customer Support tickets (e.g., in Jira) for all production blockers and processing and approving invoices and payments, ensuring financial accuracy.
• • Providing valuable insights to Strategists regarding revenue forecasts based on production volume will contribute to the company's financial planning. Your understanding of production workflows and processes related to your accounts will be deep, enabling you to ask pertinent questions and strictly adhere to Production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• • You will consistently follow correct protocols for tasks and accounts, monitoring and enforcing adherence to correct production procedures among the team. Developing and maintaining process documentation related to your workload and delegated tasks will ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency. You will leverage systems and tools provided by Production Enablement, ensuring all system administration and data entry are accurate.
• • Furthermore, you will perform file analysis and collaborate with the Solutions team for support on various file types. Creating and monitoring linguistic assets, such as Translation Memories (TM), Style Guides, and reference materials, is crucial for maintaining project consistency and quality.
