- • As an AI Application Specialist at Motorola Solutions, you will own the end-to-end build of AI agents for Non-Emergency Call Agent deployments, translating agency policies, SOPs, and call patterns into functional AI behavior that handles real 911 center calls—where precision directly impacts public safety outcomes.
- • Day to day, you will lead SOP workshops with customer operations leads, convert phone trees and training materials into executable agent behavior via structured prompts, iterate based on UAT and live-call feedback, partner with Project Managers on customer check-ins, conduct post-go-live QA, and coordinate with Integration Engineering on telephony and CAD system handoffs.
- • You will join a mission-driven team within Motorola Solutions’ Next Generation 911 and embedded AI division, a leader in agentic AI for emergency response, where your work directly improves caller outcomes, reduces abandoned calls, and accelerates resolution in high-stakes environments.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in applied prompt engineering, agentic AI systems, and regulated industry deployments while contributing to a reusable SOP library and gaining exposure to public safety technology at scale—positioning you as a specialist in AI that saves lives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated fluency with LLMs and prompt engineering, evidenced by prior work, side projects, or hands-on learning
- • Strong written communication skills to transform messy operational input into clear, structured agent behavior
- • 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, implementation engineering, prompt engineering, or applied AI/ML
- • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (no sponsorship available)
- • Ability to obtain government-required background clearance (CJIS compliance)
