- • Design and implement scalable automation architectures using iPaaS platforms such as Workato, n8n, or Tray, defining integration patterns, data contracts, and authentication models used across the organization.
- • Build and maintain identity-driven provisioning systems connecting core enterprise platforms including Okta/Entra, Rippling, NetSuite, Slack, and Notion with automated workflows.
- • Develop and deploy AI agents and automations focused on high-impact use cases such as hire-to-retire processes and help-desk deflection, moving from prototype to production-grade solutions.
- • Transform manual, repetitive workflows into monitored, reliable automations with documented runbooks, eliminating solo-maintained black boxes and ensuring operational resilience.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate systems with Business Systems’ data contracts, ensuring seamless data flow across all global offices and departments.
- • Prioritize quick wins that deliver immediate value to teams, shipping automations that change how work is done within the same week they are conceived.
- • Apply strong engineering fundamentals in Python for scripting, monitoring, error handling, and production-grade deployment of automation pipelines.
- • Leverage deep understanding of identity and authentication protocols including SSO, SCIM, and OAuth to securely connect HRIS, ERP, and collaboration tools.
- • Continuously improve system reliability by implementing observability practices, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms for all deployed automations.
- • Work within a product-driven environment where engineering decisions directly influence the evolution of AI-powered productivity infrastructure.
- • Utilize cutting-edge AI tools including Gemini and Claude Code to enhance development efficiency and automate complex decision-making workflows.
- • Contribute to a culture that values craftsmanship, ownership, velocity, and continuous learning, with a bias toward shipping over perfecting plans.
- • Participate in annual company off-sites and team events that reinforce collaboration, innovation, and shared mission across a globally distributed team.
- • Operate within a compliance-rich environment adhering to ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, and EN 18031 standards for data security and privacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years building integrations and/or automation in production using APIs, webhooks, SCIM, or event-driven systems with hands-on experience in an iPaaS (Workato, n8n, Tray, or similar)
- • Shipped AI/LLM agents or automations end-to-end including orchestration, workflow design, and prompt engineering — not just prototypes
- • Strong engineering fundamentals with production-grade scripting in Python, including monitoring, error handling, and runbook documentation
- • Solid grasp of identity and authentication protocols (SSO, SCIM, OAuth) and integration patterns with HRIS, ERP, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Okta, Rippling, NetSuite, Slack, Notion)
- • Builder’s bias: prefers shipping a functional solution this week over perfecting a plan for next quarter
