📋 Description

• Serve as the technical thought partner for OpenAI’s most strategic enterprise customers, embedding deeply to ideate and build novel Generative AI applications using the OpenAI API and ChatGPT.
• Partner with senior customer stakeholders to identify high-value GenAI use cases across industries such as customer service, automated content generation, and enterprise automation, and build a qualified backlog to support their AI roadmap.
• Accelerate customer time-to-value by developing hands-on prototypes, delivering strategic technical guidance, and intervening directly to overcome deployment bottlenecks.
• Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions that integrate ChatGPT, the OpenAI API, and related services to maximize business impact and scalability.
• Forge and manage relationships with customer leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and scaling of GenAI applications.
• Contribute to OpenAI’s open-source developer and enterprise resources by publishing notebooks, documentation, and best practices to internal and external repositories.
• Scale the Solutions Architect function by codifying proven methodologies, sharing knowledge across teams, and standardizing deployment patterns for enterprise clients.
• Collect, validate, and synthesize high-signal feedback from customer deployments to inform product development and research priorities within OpenAI.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Applied Research, and Product teams to align customer outcomes with platform capabilities and roadmap priorities.
• Operate as a hybrid technical and strategic advisor, translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business value for non-technical executives and technical teams alike.
• Work in a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the Sydney office, supporting APAC-based enterprise clients with on-site engagement as needed.
• Maintain a humble, collaborative attitude, proactively assisting colleagues and taking ownership of problems end-to-end, even when requiring new skill acquisition.
• Prioritize ruthlessly across multiple concurrent customer projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations to drive consistent delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor who bridges technical implementation with strategic business goals, ensuring GenAI deployments are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of technical consulting or equivalent experience bridging technical teams and senior business stakeholders
• Proven leadership in implementing Generative AI or traditional ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud and network architecture
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Demonstrated ability to own problems end-to-end and rapidly acquire missing knowledge to deliver results
• Exceptional communication skills to translate technical and business concepts for diverse audiences
